This innovative MAN (Metropolitan Area Network) run by Redstone provided cost-effective, high-speed communications to organisations of all sizes throughout Cambridge.

Using IP Gigabit technology, the Cambridge MAN was one of the first networks in the UK to support:

• 1000Mbps over fibre and up to 20Mbps over copper.

• Video conferencing.
• Remote management and monitoring of client networks.

Unusually the Cambridge MAN was built on the same technology as s typically featured in some of the latest Retail Centre Systems, just spread across a city rather than a single location.
